Sunday 8th October 2017 was notable for a number of reasons. New marshal Amanda (AMSC member) experienced her first event at Wigan Three Sisters; the Adgespeed Stages. Amanda helped to run the Main Time Control, the first time control of the day.

A Renault Zoe has made history after becoming the first electric car to take part in a competitive car rally. Welsh ex-junior rally champion and current Junior BRC driver Cameron Davies and navigator Scottish Junior rally driver, Andrew Blackwood made Rallying History.

14 year old Owain Hughes from North Wales was navigating in his first event for uncle Chris Phillips in the blue Peugeot 106. Proud mum Sarah was on hand and saw the pair finish 20th overall.
